A low-power view of Graves' thyroid tissue showing a large lymphoid follicle with a well-formed germinal centre, immediately adjacent to which are hyperplastic thyroid follicles surrounded by a diffuse lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate. Further afield are partially suppressed thyroid follicles that are lined with tall cuboidal epithelium and contain colloid material showing the typical scalloping artefact.
